Until now, our customer had to cut open solidified material from plastic bottles by hand, in order to empty them and then dispose of them in a time-consuming process. In the first phase of the project, the project team analysed these accident-prone and time-consuming work steps and developed proposed solutions for automation.
With the customer’s feedback and experience, 3defacto developed a novel process. After tests in the 3defacto technical centre demonstrated that it worked, the machine was built and delivered, optimised according to ergonomic requirements.
